Wow. King of Fruits. Yummy yummy. It's my favourite fruit of mine as well as my family and friends. Goodwood Park Hotel is having a durian fiesta and has added three new scrumptious creations to their existing list of cakes and pastries . Everyone should give it a try.

Mini Durian Ice Cream Cake - Encouraged by the popularity of their homemade durian ice cream launched last year, the good folks behind Goodwood's pastries have created these mini durian ice cream domes coated with white chocolate and crushed almonds.Price: $12.80 per piece; $22 for 2 pieces
Durian Cappuccino Cake - Not a fan of ice cream? Why not try durian in a cake?Dig into this delicious layered masterpiece of durian, cappuccino mouse and chocolate sponge for a cake like no other. Price: S$9 per slice; S$52 for whole cake
"Mao Shan" Power Puff - This limited-edition profiterole will delight durian fans without a doubt. Made of pure Mao shan wang enveloped in light choux pastry, this special treat is something you shouldn't miss. Price: $12.80 per piece. Available for a limited period, 1 to 30 June 2011, 12 noon to 7pm at the Deli.
Other durian pastries will also be available at the Coffee Lounge from 28 May to 17 July 2011. Try the Durian Éclair ($6 per piece; $42.80 for 8 pieces) if you missed out on this pastry last year. Also returning this year are the Durian Strudel ($9 per slice; $50 for whole cake) and Durian Oreo Cake ($9 per slice, $50 per 750g cake).
If you're craving for an old favourite, you'll be pleased to know the legendary Durian Mousse Cake ($9 per slice; $55 per 1.3kg cake; $102 per 2.5kg cake; $135 per 3.5kg cake) that kicked off the fiesta in 1983 is back on the menu.
Other old favourites making a comeback are the Durian Puff ($5.20 for 2 pieces; $14.80 for 6 pieces; $42.80 for 20 pieces), Durian Crepe ($6.80 per piece; $48 for 8 pieces), Durian Pudding ($4 per serving), and of course, Goodwood's Homemade Durian Ice Cream. ($16.80 per 16oz tub; $6.50 per scoop)
